Welcome!
Your dog is a social animal by nature and relates to its world through its senses. Dogs primarily use their nose to take in all the information around them including messages left by other animals in the neighborhood. They need to check in and keep up on the gossip!
You may live in a beautiful home, but how would you feel if you never left it? Even if you have an outdoor area for your pet, they still need exercise and mental stimulation to keep them healthy and happy. A daily visit from a friendly pet sitter can do wonders for their disposition AND can clear up behavioral problems caused by boredom.
Remember, pets are a huge part of our lives, but to them we are their whole life.
So put a smile on your pets face, contact Star Paws of Hollywood today!

Emergency Kit:
Living in Southern California we all know the drill for having an earthquake or disaster kit ready at all times. Preparedness includes your pet needs. Be sure to include an extra collar with up to date ID information as well as a supply of any medications your pet may need -- these will have to be replaced once or twice a year to keep them up to date and out of expiration. It is always a good idea to keep a bottle of Rescue Remedy available for stressful situations. Rescue Remedy is a natural herbal supplement that you and your pet can take to relax and can be four at boutique pet shops as well as some pet store chains; ask your neighbor pet store next time you visit.
Also have an extra leash and / or carrier for cats available as well as a blanket, and plenty of canned food and water -- and don't forget a can opener! Include a couple small toys if there's room left in your kit. Like kids, pets who enjoy their toys are comforted and entertained in hard times by things familiar.
Also, always have a first aid kit for you and your pet in your Emergency Kit. And finally, a proper Emergency Kit should have at least seven (7) days' worth of supplies!
